great toy but could be better Dec 27, 2009 we also own the educo kitchen and love the overall quality and accessories so did not think twice about adding this workbench to our wish list. the quality of the workbench and accessories is great. easy to assemble. my big complaint is regarding the nail holes on the work bench counter - they are too big!!! for the most part, the nail pegs fall right in so our son is just basically hammering a nail that is already in place - not very satisfying. there are a few nail pegs that are actually slightly larger in circumference than the hole in the counter so i am able to set them in the hole and he can hammer them down. not sure what we will do to remedy the situation (perhaps put a screw a screw into the peg to widen???) - if anyone has figured out a workable solution, please comment! other than this, we do like the quality of this workbench and that it has plenty of storage for accessories - he is even able to keep his handy manny toys on the bottom shelf so it helps w/ keeping things organized. he has not quite mastered using the nuts and bolts yet but this will be good for improving patience and dexterity.

Super Cute! Jun 03, 2009 I got this toy for my 2 year old son and he loves it!! I put the whole thing together in just 15 minutes and the directions were easy to follow. The bench itself is not completely square and the legs could be alittle thicker to hold up better, but over all I think it is a great toy. And if it keeps my son happy for along time, then thats even better. It comes with a sufficient amount of nails and screws and the wood is not scratchy or splintery either. I think its a great way for kids to learn corrdination skills and and details they aren't used to, plus I love the colors. I would buy it again!
Work Bench Jan 17, 2009 Love this toy. But the 'nail' holes are a bit big so the nails just fall through. Not so much fun for a hammering. Also, it would have been nice if there were screw holes on top to for the screws. But my son loves it. Super durable. Love the wooden nails and screws!

Great toy actually made out of real wood Jan 08, 2009 This is a very good work bench for people looking for something actually made out of wood and not plastic like most things are. The construction is okay (you get what you pay for) and my son loves banging the nails. It comes with plenty of nails and screws to work with. I am glad I bought it.
