 DO NOT BUY! Major quality problems. Also AVOID PRETENDTIMETOYS. Dec 02, 2009
I purchased this product from PretendTimeToys. The Fridge is poorly made and impossible to assemble. The biggest issue (among many) is that the screws provided to attach the refrigerator doors are so flimsy that they break in half as you're screwing them into place,leaving the bottom half of the screws embedded into the side of the fridge with no way to remove them. Thus, I was unable to attach the doors to the fridge. I called the manufacturer Guidecraft, and asked for a refund. They refused to give me a refund, but instead shipped me a new fridge. Sure enough, the exact same thing happened with the replacement fridge. Now i've got 2 toy fridges with no doors on either of them. The problem with the screws is emblematic of the overall quality of the toy. The pieces do not fit together properly, the slots for the backboards do not line up, etc. Assembly will take you forever and leave you frustrated with a broken product in the end. Don't waste your time or money. AVOID THIS PRODUCT. Also, I strongly recommend avoiding PretendTimeToys. After struggling to get a refund from the manufacturer, i contacted PretendTimeToys to ask for assistance in dealing with Guidecraft. Well, i never got a response from them, and they conveniently do NOT have a phone number. Their customer service is non-existent. There are plenty of other Amazon merchants to choose from. Please learn from my mistakes and save yourself a lot of hassle.

 Guidecraft fridge - not as tough as their other toys Apr 26, 2009
While I like the product (and more importantly, so do the kids) and it fits well with the oven we bought a year ago, the quality is not as good as the oven. Inside panels are not painted and they are thinner. I am sure that this will last through my kids' use and perhaps a few others but I was a bit disappointed and will not buy from the company again.
