We love this toy! Jul 22, 2010
My 2 year old got this last Christmas and he still plays with it regularly. It is so cute, we love the Plan Toys wooden stuff. I don't like him to put all that 'made in china' fake plastic food in his mouth, but this stuff is fun because he can pretend to eat it and I don't worry if I see him with the bacon in his mouth or anything (he doesn't chew this stuff, but he does put it in his mouth from time to time). You get so much stuff for the price with this set, it is totally worth it. I also like that it is a proper little English breakfast, with sausage, cheese, toast, eggs and a roll. All of the food items and the tray can be used for any pretend kitchen play, so there is no end to how kids can play with the pieces.

I love the Plan Toys line of pretend play food products because they are eco-friendly, made of wood, and non-toxic. Excellent quality, well-made with smooth surfaces, and don't feel heavy. I bought this set to go along with Plan Toys' meat set, and fruit & veges set. Just the right size for little hands. My 2 year old son LOVES them! He no mouths things but because of the choking hazard I make sure he's not left unattended when he plays with this.

This is a really nice little play set. Food is nicely sized for little hands, edges are smooth, paints are neatly applied, and no chemical smell. Pretty design than M&D and much, much better and more attractice design. The M&D bread set looks so cheap next to this set. My toddler loves the boiled egg and S&P shakers. We also have the cutting vegetable set and having two trays is very handy!

I bought this for my kid's (ages 2-4) play kitchen and they really have had fun with it. I was a little disappointed with the size. Everything was a bit smaller than I had imagined it would be but the kids didn't seem to have a problem with that at all. In fact, I think it's the perfect size for their little hands.

A good, safe, non-toxic food set for the kids to play with. Got this the same time as some Melissa & Doug food sets. The M&D toys smelled really bad coming out of the package, whereas the Plan Toys didn't smell at all. The food looks fairly real, and the kids enjoy playing with it. Pieces are a tad on the small size, but perfect for little hands. I would recommend this over the M&D sets.
